August....summer's last hurrah! I've decided I have simply got to clean my sewing room so I can sew. I need to do it now before everything gets back on schedule in the fall. My ultimate goal is to get the cutting table cleaned off so I can cut on it again. What is it with flat surfaces that seem to explode with everything that doesn't have any where else to live??? Someday I will have the will power to purge! In the mean time I am happy working hand stitching projects! Also in the mean time, I hope you can enjoy these lazy hot summer days. Happy Quilting, Pam
What's new:
Tammy has been busy checking in a lot of new fabric including batiks and lots of flannel!    The Wool and Needle IV and Endangered Sanctuary flannels are complete lines including layer cakes, charms and fat quarter bundles. They are just in time for fall! The Sweet Baby Blossom flannels are just that! Bunnies, baby pins, banners and little dots in the softest colors are definitely sweet!

On The Horizon BOM
The Tonga batiks by Timeless Treasures used in this quilt was over sold at market so our fabric is on backorder. We have gotten a few bolts in but we are still waiting for the rest that will ship at the end of this month. So we will be starting this in September! Finished size is 108" x 108". Price tbd

We are still waiting for our shop kit. After market, Amy McClellan from Under the Garden Moon, lost all her directions when her computer crashed. Now she has
to rewrite it all! She will be sending it once she gets it printed. We are anxious to get started on it! Prices tbd

Award winning Dutch quilt artist, Jacqueline de Jonge, designed this playful little
30" x 30" paper pieced quilt. Toni will show you how to paper piece to make perfect points. Toni will provide printed pattern ease for foundation piecing for $10.The pattern is $25. Toni will continue with Becolourful patterns on the last Tuesday of each month.

Crystal Blue
August 29th with Toni
We have more Crystal Blue kits in and we are running a class a 2nd time! This is a pre-cut kit from Hoffman using all of their basic 1895 batiks. The pieces have been laser cut for accuracy and they are all labeled. Toni will help you through the process of putting it together starting August 29th and running through consecutive Mondays until completed. Choose from the Crystal Blue, Crystal Clear, or Crystal Bloom color way. The kit is $198 and is ready to open and sew! If you are interested call and reserve your kit soon!

The Gentle Art of Hand Stitching- Friday August 12th
Anyone who has an interest in hand stitching is invited to join us for a
girls day out! You don't have to drag a sewing machine out the door just what ever hand work you are working on at the moment!

Techniques with Toni- Saturday August 20th
Bring any project that Toni has taught and she will guide you through finishing it up! Haven't taken a class from Toni yet...not a problem! She will help you get started with her innovative method of foundation piecing.
