Happy April! Between retreats and a cold, March seemed to fly by. This month is exciting as we are going to Boston. Loren qualified to run the Boston marathon so off we go! I have never been there so it will be a great experience. We plan on being there for a week. The only downside is that is over Easter weekend but we usually don't make plans for Easter anyway. I am usually tied up playing piano for church services. I did have to go shopping for new shoes for a lot of walking, new outfits, a new rain coat and a new hair color! I'm all set, that's it for my training! Loren on the other hand has had to train all winter in the snow and ice and in the gym and now he has a cold. I'm sure he will be glad to have this goal accomplished! April will be another quick month I think. Still waiting for April the Giraffe to have her baby!

Souper Sew Day- Friday April 7th
Bring your projects and enjoy the company of others while you sew! Lunch provided, $5.00.
Saturday BOM- Saturday April 8th
We will continue working on our "On the Horizon" BOM
Hand stitching- Friday April 14th and 28th
Join us in the classroom and bring your hand work along. It might be a great way to get that quilt bound without any distractions!
Open Quilting with Sharon- Wednesday April 12th and 19th
Sharon teaches beginning quilt concepts with a series of quilts from her folder. You can choose any one of them and she is happy to guide you to completion. This month's quilt is just an open sew and if you would like finish a quilt you started with her or start something new Sharon can help with that!
Quick Strip Table Runner- Thursday April 20th
LaRee will show a great new way to sew up your strips into these fun blocks. You can play with the blocks to create a variety of patterns. They can be super scrappy too. A table runner is just the beginning of what you can do!
Foundation Piecing Toni's Way- Saturday April 15th and Tuesday April 25th
This is an open group for anyone who wants to learn Toni's method of foundation piecing using pattern ease. She has printed foundations for a variety of patterns. You must purchase each pattern and an additional charge for her printed foundations is separate.
