August 2017

Happy August! So we are having a fire incident here in Seeley Lake. There is a fire west of us and one north of us. The one that is north has been burning right towards town.  Yesterday they put the whole town on evacuation warning.  So we went home to pack just in case we had to leave. The winds were supposed to be strong out of the north east which would send it right our way.  However the winds did not come as predicted, praise the Lord! Also a big praise were the airplanes dropping water and retardant yesterday afternoon!
We are remaining open even though it is a bit of a mess!  We will cancel Souper Sew on Friday though since we are all a bit of a mess at home too! If you want to come sew though you are welcome too! We are being optimistic!  I figure as long as the fire camp is across the street at the grade school, we're good!
Happy Quilting, Pam

Taken from the end of the airstrip last night.  We were watching the air support!
It was much calmer when we left.

What's New
We have been getting in new fabric all summer.  We have gotten in many new basics. We also have new Hoffman digital printed wildlife panels. We have in new Kaffe Fassett prints, ikats, and batiks. We love the new Alison Glass fabrics.  Watch for a new BOM made with them!  We have the whole line of Moda's Grunge Dots. These are just some of the new fabrics.  We also have been changing the store around to make room for everything
