 January 2019

Happy January and a Happy New Year!
December started out with grand child number 7!! Kaleb Judah was born at 27 weeks and was
1 lb 13 oz!  He is doing great though and gaining like a champ.  He will still have a while in the NICU however. We are eager for the day when we finally get to hold him!  Much of December was spent cleaning out the upstairs of the old store.  If there is room to save stuff (even if it will never be used) it gets saved!!  It seemed like a never ending job but it is completed and we closed on the building at the end of the month!  So a chapter closes but we are excited for another one to begin. Change is always a constant and life is full of beginnings.  The new year brings a promise of change, new resolutions, new ambitions, and new dreams.  Wishing everyone a wonderful 2019! Happy Quilting! Pam

Classes for January
Call ahead to reserve your spot for classes and for a class supplies list.

Jelly Roll Rug
Monday January 14th
This is such a popular project right now.  I have not seen a rug that wasn't super cute and fun! We all have jelly rolls that we bought with good intentions of using and yet they still sit on the shelf.  It takes one jelly roll and one Katahdin On-A-Roll package by Bosal to make a 30" x 44" rug.
Pattern required- $10.00     Katahdin On-A-Roll- $28.57

Jelly Roll Race Quilt
Tuesday January 22
This quilt is an oldie but goodie but again it is a good way to use that jelly roll you bought with good intentions.  LaRee will be your starter for this race.  This will be a fun time to get a quilt top finished in a couple hours.  We will have a prize for the winner!!!

Heart Song Table Runner
Monday January 28th
Fall in love with this table runner designed by Ann Lauer of Grizzly Gulch Gallery just in time for Valentine's Day.  Teresa will help you with the Bargello technique (she does not do the quilt as you go technique that Ann does in her directions).  The runner measures 25" x 60" and the pattern includes placemats to match.  You can make this to match any color in your house to use all year. Pattern required- $9.00
