Happy May!
Who remembers making tissue paper flowers with pipe cleaner stems and putting them into woven construction paper baskets on May Day? You would then hang it on the door of your favorite neighbor. The only thing to worry about back then was whether or not you could run fast enough to hide after you rang the doorbell and before they opened the door. We did that with the intention of showing someone they were loved and special! In reality, we don't need one day a year to bless our neighbosr with kindness. This month, be intentional about finding a way to show someone that you are glad they are in your life! Happy Quilting, Pam

Jason (Sarina's husband) will do cleaning and repairs. He does have a full time job with flex days off so call to make an appointment to see about same day service. Otherwise you can leave it here and we will call you when it is ready for pick up.

We do not have room to carry a wide selection of sewing machine models so we have chosen a couple that we think best suits quilter's needs. However we can order any Janome machine and it usually only takes 4 days to get here!

Souper Sew is this Friday!! Join us on the 1st Friday of every month for soup and conversation while you work on your projects! $5.00
2nd Saturday BOM (5/11)- We are currently working on the Dessert Sampler Quilt by Moda using their Color Cut fabric rolls. $16.50/12 months
Foundation Piecing with Toni (5/14, 18, 28)- This month Toni is going to teach The Wrapsody. This is a perfect bag to stay organized! Unique features include: 3 zippered-pocket dividers, 1 zippered exterior pocket, 3 or more loyalty - credit card holders & 4 separate and roomy interior compartments. It can be used as a cross body or shoulder style. We think it would be great for sewing supplies or as a make up bag also. It is 10" x 5.5" x 6.5" tall. Pattern is $12.99. She will start this class on her 3rd Saturday, May 18th.
Toni is available on any of those days to help you with any of her foundation pieced patterns.
Hand Stitching (Thursday 5/16)
We find hand stitching to be very therapeutic for the soul, even more so with friends! Bring whatever hand work you are working on whether it is a wool project, embroidery or simply have a quilt to bind. No skill is required. We can all share ideas and techniques and learn from each other!
