Deer Country Quilts March Newsletter

  March 2015
Sew...which is what I would love to be doing, however, we have have been working on our new Point of Sale system.  It is certainly one of those things that when you change thing one it leads to three others that need attention. We have been making progress though.  Our new web page is live. We will have the ability to change and add to it whenever! We are especially excited about the calendar page where you can check out classes for the month at a glance! We are still working on the web store.  It will have a new look also.  March is retreat month!! Yay!!! Retreats are definitely a great to take your mind off of every thing that wants to make your head explode! It will be a happy diversion for sure!! And for sure we thank you for your patience during this transition.  I know I haven't very timely in getting this newsletter out the last couple of months!  Happy Quilting! Pam

PS:  We finally heard from the Visa Center and Tomoko will have her visa interview on April 13! It takes a week after that to get her visa and after 9 months of waiting she and Noah will get to come home!! Such good news!  That only took 16 months to complete the immigration process! Goodness!!!

 Trunk Shows
We currently have two different trunk shows at the store through March.  Come in and check out the quilts and projects made with the fabric lines!

"Whisper" Trunk Show by Troy
This wonderful subtle line was designed by Janine Burke (JB Designs formerly Blue Underground) for Troy Fabrics. We have the entire line, with fat quarter packs and patterns.

"Centenary" by Lecien
These cute bags, place mat, and snowman quilt are
all designed by Yoko Saito.  Her quilting is very much
defined by the use of Japanese taupes, applique,
and embroidery.  Centenary is her newest fabric line.

You can make the star quilt if you are in the mood for a larger project. Class at 11:00.
