I am convinced we are some weird time warp where we are eternally waiting for spring to come yet the months are flying so fast that we can't believe it is already May! At least my phone weather app does not have any snowflakes anymore in the 10 day forecast! Maybe we've arrived! This month is going to fly by also. May is Quilt Market month! Market is in Portland and Sarina, Teresa and I are going. We should have some fun things to update you on by next month. Check in with our Face Book page and we should have pictures to post while we are there. May is about Mother's Day, gardening and graduations. Memorial weekend always kicks off the summer tourist season. We have been getting in some fun new things in the store also. There is a lot packed into one month! Happy Quilting, Pam

These are open sew days with Toni. She is there to help you with any of her foundation patterns. You can also use the time for any makeup class Toni teaches including the Dragon Fly and Humming Bird kits from Hoffman. She can also help with the laser pre-cut Crystal kits from Hoffman. You can start on a book case quilt also.You can join at any time!
 
Book Case Quilt with Toni
While in Arizona last year, Toni took a class to learn how to make these fun book case quilts. You can totally customize them to your reading preferences! It is no surprise that Toni's book case has a Halloween theme. She is working on a Harry Potter themed one now. Much of the pattern she has printed on her foundations. Bring your imagination and create your own one-of -a-kind book case.
Machine Embroidery Daze
Monday 14th - Wednesday 16th
This has turned into a regular event each month! Bring your machine for 3 days for sharing and embroidering. You can just leave your machine set up for all the days or come when you can. If machine embroidery is something you have been thinking about doing, come check out what all the fun is about!
Sewing with Sharon
Wednesday 9th and 23rd
Bringing Home the Tree by Buttermilk Basin.
Learn machine applique with this supper cute pattern! The wall hanging measures 43" x 51" and is designed to be a block of the month. Sharon will start on the old truck block. You can choose to machine applique using cotton fabrics and fusible or you can applique with wool. You will be picking out your own fabric choices for the background and appliques. Start it now and have it done for Christmas 2018!
Hand Stitching Daze

This is a day to get together to work on any hand project you are wanting to catch up on. If you have a project you are working on, want to learn wool applique, learn new embroidery stitches, hand quilting, or just binding a quilt, come and join us. We are always happy to share what we are learning!
