Happy March! Daylight Savings Time, St Patrick's Day, Spring, National Quilting Month, and Quilt Retreats. March has a lot going on! Loren and I are taking a little business trip to Palm Springs also. We will love soaking up some sun but we certainly can't complain about the winter. It has been pretty mild even for us. Even if it is little blustery out, the promise of spring is in the air! With retreats this month our schedule is a little on the light side. I'm thinking the month is going to fly by as it is. We should all be enjoying a whole month devoted to quilting! The 21st is National Quilting Day. It is a good excuse to get together with friends for a sewing party. Like we ever need an excuse. Six Halves Make A Whole Sampler Quilt Last month the girls were working on their blocks. They both have the quilt tops completed now! Teresa has made the warm color tones and Sarina has made up the cool color tones version. The quilt uses the House ruler by Creative Grids to cut all the shapes used in the blocks.
