Deer Country Quilts Newsletter

 June 2020

Happy June!
A very happy yet bittersweet June. I am writing my last newsletter.  Sarina takes over tomorrow and I am officially retired!  There really no words that I can write to express my gratitude to all of our faithful customers.  There are so many of you that I consider  a friend and not just a customer.  I feel that God has blessed me with the best staff also.  I know that this would not be the store it is without them throughout the years.  Again there are not enough words to thank them.  I know Sarina is so excited to be taking over.  I hope that everyone supports her and her vision for the store as much you have supported me.  I have seen many changes in the quilting industry but one thing that will never change is the great customer service Deer Country Quilts has always been committed to.  I know that will carry forward!  Local quilt shops are important in that way!!  I will still be hanging out to finish up sewing some store samples that, as always, I'm behind on.
So for now just thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Happy Quilting!  Pam

Belle Amie Table Runner

Belle Amie by Villa Rosa Designs is such a versatile runner pattern.  LaRee made this runner using our patriotic jelly rolls.  This is a perfect Flag Day project and will carry through into July!

Orbits Table Runner
Monday June 15th, 10:00
20" x 48"
Teresa made this perfect circle table runner in a flash.  She said it was so easy and even made two versions!  The pattern is by Christine Quilts and it uses the Creative Grids "Circle Savvy Ruler".  It takes 4 fat quarters for the background and 3 fat quarters for the rings.

Miniatures with Toni

Toni has doing miniatures for years and has quite a collection of them.  She is going to be teaching some using her foundation piecing.  Can you believe these are 2" squares?!! Call to reserve your spot!
