Deer Country Quilts Newsletter

 January 2024

Last month I confessed that I had decided to make Christmas presents at the beginning of December.  I, of course, did not choose a quick and easy pattern (I'm finding that I like to punish myself that way).  Well, I got most of them done before the beginning of this month...LOL... I told my husband that he needs to tell me to start on next year's Christmas presents as soon as I'm done with this last year's!

Anyhow, I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's celebration!

I have been doing a lot of rearranging at our store and reevaluating some things.  Change can be difficult but necessary.  I hope the changes I make will better our store - that is always my goal.  We're looking forward to a new year of serving our wonderful customers!  Thank you for continuing to shop with us!

Please call our store to sign up for classes (406) 677-2730.  Classes start at 10:15am, or 12:15pm as stated in the class description.  You can find more information for each class on our website by clicking on the picture.

Thursday, January 11th
Join us for a fun day of sewing and eating lunch with your friends!  Bring a any project you want to work on.  Lunch will be served around noon.  Please let us know by Wednesday (the day before) if you will be coming, so that we can be sure to have enough food.
The fee is $5 (preferably cash, as this goes to the maker of the food and not to DCQ).

2nd Tuesday Class
Tuesday, January 9th

This is the final class for this BOM.  We will announce the new class pattern/fabrics soon!

Studio 180 with Toni

We are so excited to announce that we will be having Sue Paceley teaching at our store again later this year!!  She will be teaching Deb Tucker's block of the month pattern "Jubilation" (pictured above), as well as half of Sophomore year of Tucker University.  More details will be available soon.

Coming up in March!
Learn how to make your own one-of-a-kind umbrella with Pat Brunes!  I will update with an actual picture soon!
