Amidst all of the chaos this world throws at us, we will thrive as long as we keep quilting! When I'm quilting, I definitley feel a relief from the stresses of life. Creating something, especially when it is a gift for someone else, releases all the good endorphines that keep me sane. I am so blessed to be in this industry and I pray that Deer Country Quilts continue for many more years.

Thursday, June 13th
Join us for a fun day of sewing and eating lunch with your friends! Bring a any project you want to work on. Lunch will be served around noon. Please let us know by Wednesday (the day before) if you will be coming, so that we can be sure to have enough food.
The fee is $5 (preferably cash, as this goes to the maker of the food and not to DCQ).
2nd Tuesday Class
Tuesday, June 11th
Teresa's class is doing this pattern, "Seeing Stars", by Tricia Cribbs. It is done in jewel-tone batiks, not the fabrics shown on the pattern. There are two slots still available, and it would not be difficult to catch up.
 
We are so excited to have started this BOM with Sue Paceley!! We have one spot left in this class and it would be easy to catch up at this point. Call to sign up for Deb Tucker's block of the month pattern "Jubilation" (pictured above), or half of Sophomore year of Tucker University. The first session of Tucker University boot camp starts this month, and we have 2 slots left!
Beginning Free-motion Quilting
Tuesday, June 18th - Wednesday, June 19th
Join Teresa in learning how to free-motion quilt on your own sewing machine. This is a two-day class, and you will be able to leave your sewing machine at our store overnight.
Deer Country Quilts is an authorized Janome dealer. We have machines and accessories for sale, and provide scheduled service for your Janome sewing machine.
