February 2026

This meme is true of me, not just in the month of February, but all the time.  There are two ways to my heart: chocolate and fabric.  And with each I definitely can't choose just one.  Everyone needs a friend - not just people, but fabrics and chocolates also.  Some of you have heard me say this when I've helped you pick out fabric ;).  So, I'm wishing you a month filled with chocolate (and chocolate's friend or 2 or more) and fabric (and fabric's friend or 2 or more)!  Thank you for being our customers!

Heart Throw Pillow

Friday, February 6th, 1:30pm

I designed this 16" throw pillow for Valentine's Day.  I'll teach you how to make it, and provide you with my notes so you can make more too.  Fabrics and pillow form not included in class price, but available for purchase.

Soup-r-sew
Thursday, February 12th

Join us for a fun day of sewing and eating lunch with your friends!  Bring any project you want to work on.  Lunch will be served around noon.  Please let us know by Wednesday (the day before) if you will be coming, so that we can be sure to have enough food.
The fee is $5 (please bring cash, as this goes to the maker of the food and not to DCQ).

2nd Tuesday Class - Log Cabin Sampler
Tuesday, February 10th

This is just a reminder for those in the class - this class is full.

On Wander Lane BOM
Friday, February 20th
Nancy Halverson designed 12 "On Wander Lane" patterns that can be combined to make this all-season wall hanging.  For each class, you will need to purchase the pattern and either bring your own fabrics or purchase fabrics from our store.  We are flexible on which pattern you start with - it's not too late to join in!

We still have a few kits, and I'm still availabe for anyone interested in making this BOM "Aspiring Stars" by Michelle Renee Hiatt & Lynn Wheatley.  It uses the following Studio 180 tools:

Tucker Trimmer I (III also reccomended)

Wing Clipper I

Square Squared

V Block

Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star

The kit is $25/month for 12 months.  You can get it monthly or just buy the whole kit.  You also do not have to do it as a class, if you are already familiar with the Studio 180 tools.
