Happy August! I cannot believe I'm writing about August - it feels like the 4th of July was just last week! Maybe it's because I have been proquiltinating that the days are flying by. If so, I have no regrets. I hope you have found yourself proquiltinating as well!! Thursday, August 13th Join us for a fun day of sewing and eating lunch with your friends! Bring any project you want to work on. Lunch will be served around noon. Please let us know by Wednesday (the day before) if you will be coming, so that we can be sure to have enough food. The fee is $5 (please bring cash, as this goes to the maker of the food and not to DCQ).
Free-motion QuiltingTuesday-Wednesday, August 18th-19thCome learn how to free-motion quilt on your sewing machine. This is a two-day class, and you will be able to leave your machine and supplies at our store overnight.

We have 4 block-of-the-month kits available for this new combination of Ruby Star Society's "Freaky Familiars" fabrics and Sarah Sumbera's book "Boo Crew". This BOM is $25/mo. for 9 months. We will start the class on Saturday, September 12th. Call to reserve your spot!

We still have a few kits, and I'm still availabe for anyone interested in making this BOM "Aspiring Stars" by Michelle Renee Hiatt & Lynn Wheatley. It uses the following Studio 180 tools:
Tucker Trimmer I (III optional)
Wing Clipper I
Square Squared
V Block
Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star
The kit is $25/month for 12 months. You can get it monthly or just buy the whole kit. You also do not have to do it as a class, if you are already familiar with the Studio 180 tools.
